Working From Home

At the beginning of the pandemic, I was approached by the Wall Street Journal to do a cover illustration about the transition of working in the office, to working from home. While the world was adjusting to this new normal, I had already been working remotely for a year, so I already had some experience to pull from (doing yoga from your living room on your lunch break? Huge win) and was so excited to explore all of the possibilities.

Sketch A. Wanted this one to feel busy, with lots of overlapping elements as characters leaned out of their Zoom windows

Sketch B. Similar to Sketch A, I wanted the characters to interact with UI elements and one another equally.

Sketch C. A long shot, but I really wanted to illustrate someone doing yoga at home! I tried to keep it to the brief by putting the main character on a keyboard, so there was still some tech interaction.
